"Buzz", the squirrel, our baby pet for a day. We fed him nuts and water. He climbed all over the boys and scratched them up a bit, then layed down next to me when I was snoozing on the lawn, and fell right to sleep. I admit, I got rather attached to the little thing that day. I even gave him a bath and we made a little box house for him with a stick to climb out on. Too bad squirrels are wild and mean when they grow up, or we might have kept him!

You guys have got to be the cutest family EVER!!! I want a pet squirrel too! I also remember having a bottle rocket launcher growing up! How fun! I want to come live with you!
Laura, you can come live with us any time you want!! Your little guy will fit right in with all the other males in this house. :) We miss our Lansing friends--thanks for being true to "the blog" to keep in touch!
If only Brahm would nap like that!
What a fun thing. How often do get actually get to hold squirrels?? NEVER. What a great opportunity for your boys to learn about them.
Is that squirrel for real? Just be careful, or you might end up like George Costanza when he tried taking care of a squirrel. Looks like fun anyway!
Seriously! That is amazing. I think I would be scared to death if a squirrel got that close to me while I was laying down. I'm sure your boys had a blast!
