Can you figure out what animal tracks these are? You and/or your kids can help us crack this mystery of what animal is living in our back yard. McKay and Emerson went on a detective hunt to follow these tracks. Some animal has been leaving a brand new set of tracks (the top ones) in the snow, leading all the way from our front yard, through our back yard, and out into the forest every day. If you are right, you win....the animal. If we can catch it! Plus, for a bonus I'll see if the kids will draw a picture of the animal for you. Get to work and unlock the mystery....

Yes! I want to be the first to comment! I think I might have solved your mystery - since I have those same prints in our yard and I see them hopping around all the time. My educated guess would have to be adorable bunny rabbits. I love the way cute mysteries at the Thompson home. We always call it "National Geographic" in our backyard (I watched a hawk swoop down from our swingset and snatch a little critter in broad daylight and a skunk walked all around our yard and eventually made it up on our deck, right in front of me, only separated by glass - at that point I just had to shut the curtains and pray that the stink stays away) I hope none of you have to get nose to nose with a skunk in all your outdoor adventures!
Yeah...Megan, you win. As I said, you get the bunny when I catch it! However, it's quite elusive so I may have to do a raincheck on that!
